To support structural change toward climate action within organisations and to build their capacity to promote change among external stakeholders throughout their action, (e)mission (im)possible mission is to develop, test and disseminate a climate action training scheme and toolkit for the in-depth training “on the job” of sector’s professionals. The path aims to lead organisations to identify key aspects of their carbon footprint and develop strategy plans to reduce their emissions while enhancing their climate positive actions.

 

Key tools such as a climate impact calculator and a handbook on transformative climate action strategy will provide other organisations and staff with key guidance to support the diffusion of similar actions outside the partnership.  

 

A methodological framework for implementation will provide detailed methodological insights for the development of climate action competencies among development cooperation and humanitarian aid professionals. The framework aims to facilitate the replicability of (e)mission (im)possible training scheme among higher education and other training institutions to multiply (e)mission (im)possible impacts towards current and future professionals.
